The PSB Newsletter Club Meeting at Zorbas on Monday, December 8th. Be there at 6PM. Meeting Agenda: PSBO10 – Laugh/Cry/Rejoice From the President: As of writing this newsletter, the PSBO10 is yet to come. There has been lots of hard work contributed and lots of beer brewed by many. Thanks to all involved. Come to Monday’s meeting to celebrate! The World Beer Festival, put on by All About Beer magazine is set for January 24th, 2009. “Brew Crew” volunteers are still needed to help with this event. Volunteers are needed for the weekend with the majority of work on Saturday at the event. Election of Club Officers for 2009 will be held at Monday’s meeting. Nominations to date include : Come help make Palmetto State Brewers, Inc “The Premier Brew Club of The Carolinas”! Everyone is needed at Monday’s meeting. Please attend. Monday, December 8th is our next club meeting at Zorba’s. Dinner at 6:00, meeting at 7:00, and BE SURE TO BRING SAMPLES OF YOUR AWARD WINNING HOME BREW. Carl Foster/Prez Competition Corner:

Report from the VP of Social Events: December newsletter! Yikes! Ugh, the year is almost over... not sure how that happened, yet here we are. Onwards! A HUGE thank you to each and everyone who came out to our PSB Open #10. Brewers, judges, stewards, curmudgeons, BBQ gods... I could go on. The event was well attended, a blast and I hope you had as much fun as I did. Events! There really is only one big event on the near horizon. That would be the World Beer Festival Columbia bash on January 24th. Info for this is popping up all over the place, check our forum or meetings for details. We need Brew Crew members! See the posts in the Event forum or contact me (Dan Adams) if you want to help run the festival on Saturday. THIS IS GOING TO BE HUGE! Jan 10th is another legendary Beer Advocate Brick Store gathering. Details here: If you haven't been to one of these, get yourself down to Atlanta and hold on to your hat! Check out the pictures here from our last meetup if you're not convinced: As usual, check the forum for updates, last minute events and shenanigans. We have some great stuff coming up in 2009, once we recover from the World Beer Fest! If you have an event you'd like to do, contact me and we'll see if we can make it happen.
